Ambient air is very important for the survival of living things, therefore to get quality ambient air it is necessary to control air pollution. One of the ways to control air pollution is by monitoring or measuring various kinds of air pollutants such as SO2, NO2, O3, CO, CO2, Pb,Hydrocarbon and Particulates (PM 10, PM 2.5 and TSP). Air quality monitoring or measurement can be done automatically or manually. Until now, AAS Laboratory has been competent in measuring ambient air in several mining, oil and gas, manufacturing and even service companies, both active samplers and passive samplers.

In the Indonesian Government Regulation Number 22 of 2021, it is also a regulation that regulates the Quality Standards of Ambient Air. If the results of the ambient air quality measurements that have been carried out are compared with the Ambien Air Quality Standards in this regulation, the ambient air quality has entered the polluted air category.
